Community Impact and Learning Coordinator

Ahmed Oduwaiye (he/him) is a Nigerian-Canadian professional who has called Prince Edward Island home for several
years and is deeply committed to his community.

He holds a Master’s degree in Information and Communications Technology from the University of Greenwich, UK, and
is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Prosci Change Practitioner, and PMI Professional in Business
Analysis (PMI-PBA). Ahmed brings over 20 years of experience in program evaluation, data analysis, and knowledge
mobilization across government and community-based environments. Most recently, he served as a Learning Facilitator
with the Tourism Industry Association of PEI and as a Project Manager with the Government of Prince Edward Island,
translating complex data into meaningful insights that informed decisions affecting Islanders’ lives.

His connection to BIPOC USHR’s work is personal. As a Black immigrant navigating PEI’s systems, Ahmed understands
firsthand the importance of spaces where BIPOC communities are supported, heard, and empowered to thrive. He
previously served on the Board of Directors of the Nigerian-Canadian Association of PEI and contributed to newcomer
settlement programming through IRSA PEI.

Ahmed is passionate about community, family, and using his skills in service of something larger than himself.
